Hey folks, I'm having a pre Xmas studio sale of original artworks and prints, direct from me and commission free! Prices starting at $125, perfect for a Xmas pressie or a little treat for you. All works above are acrylic and pencil on plywood, 215 x 150mm, $125 ea. Click on the pic to enlarge.

The paintings below are acrylic and chinagraph on canvas, 305 x 305 x 30mm, $275 ea. There are also some larger works on canvas and original paintings on paper in my shop.

The three giclee prints below have been printed onto canvas using archival inks. The printing quality really is great and I have only printed one of each on canvas so VERY limited. 305 x 305 x 30mm, $125ea.

Whammy!

Here's a sneak peek of some new work for the Off The Hip exhibition. The giclee prints on canvas of CD artwork came up a treat thanks to Lantern printing. Thanks Karl! Come check it out over the next week Nov 18-26th at Of The Hip, 381 Flinders Lane, enter Tavistock Place. Opening tomorrow night, Fri 18th at 7pm, bands at 7.30pm.

viva frida!




Early November is the best festival of the year celebrated in Mexico, Dia de los Muertos or Day of the Dead. I've been working on a Frida Kahlo piece and thought it timely to share these beautiful reference pics of her. The colours and adornment are so amazing.

Unfortunately I missed the festival when I was in Mexico but I did see Frida's house and some ace Mexican wrestling which kinda made up for it. Seriously if you are ever in Mexico City, go to the wrestling, it's freakin AWESOME! That's me in the El Santo shirt post match.
